Bad news for Anthony Michael Hall!
On Sunday, it was revealed that The Breakfast Club alum could end up behind bars for seven years as he was charged with felony battery with serious bodily injury by the El Lay county’s district attorney. Oof!
As you surely know, Hall is accused of shoving his neighbor during a spat outside their Playa del Rey apartment complex. According to TMZ, there are unnamed circumstances which have bumped up the ’80s icon’s potential jail term from four to seven years. Yikes!
Reportedly, the alleged incident (which took place in mid-September) occurred after the Sixteen Candles star’s neighbor left his gate open and Anthony angrily yelled at him to shut it. The 48-year-old then closed the gate himself. Unfortunately for the Boston-born artist, there is grainy footage which shows Anthony pushing one of the condo’s residents to the ground. The victim was supposedly left with a broken wrist and an injured back.
Not to mention, this isn’t the first time Hall’s been in some hot water with his neighbors. In case you forgot, Anthony made headlines in 2011 after he allegedly threatened to fight one neighbor and was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace. Is it just us, or should Anthony totally move?
Nonetheless, we’ll be keeping our eyes on this case for any and all updates. Stay tuned!
