Melania Trump Worked Illegally In America Before Obtaining Visa

Oh, the irony is VERY strong here for Donald Trump

According to a new report out in the Associated Press late Friday night, The Donald’s wife Melania Trump was paid for working ten modeling jobs in the United States that occurred before she had legal permission to work in the country!

Melania, who received her green card in 2001 and then eventually became a US citizen in 2006, has always maintained that she arrived in the country legally and always did things above board — and yet now, more than $20,000 worth of modeling jobs is coming into question.

Melania has always claimed, through an attorney, that she came to the US from Slovenia on August 27, 1996 on a B1/B2 visitor visa, after which she obtained a H-1B work visa on October 18, 1996.

On those visas, then, Melania was not legally allowed to perform paid work in the country until that H-1B was obtained in October of ’96.

The documents obtained by the AP last night, however, show that between September 10 and October 15 of that year, the future Mrs. Trump was paid for ten different modeling jobs while on the visitor visa!!

It’s a very small note, but it’s big in consequence — especially considering how viciously anti-immigrant her husband has become during his campaign!

For Melania, this likely won’t result in any kind of charges, since it happened so long ago and it’s such a relatively minor infraction in regards to citizenship.

But for The Donald’s campaign, this should be HUGE — he has talked down illegal immigrants for 18 months, now, only to find out that (oops!) his own wife was one!!!
